Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how The Sovereign Ledger ("Sovereign Ledger," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit sovereignledger.app or purchase or use our products. You can contact us about privacy at support@sovereignledger.app.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
Contact and marketing details, such as your email address (and name, if you provide it) when you join a list, fill in a form, or email us.
The contents of messages you send us, such as support or refund requests.
Purchase information
When you buy a product, our checkout and payment partner (for example, Whop) processes your payment and shares limited order information with us, such as your email address and which product you bought. We do not receive or store your full card number or banking details.
Information collected automatically
Basic usage and device data, such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring page, and similar analytics, collected through cookies and similar technologies when you use the website.
What we do not collect
We do not collect, access, store, or process your Stripe (or other processor) login, API keys, account data, or your customers' personal or payment data. Our products run on your side, against dashboards and exports you control.
3. How we use information
- to deliver our products and provide customer support;
- to process and confirm your purchase through our payment partner;
- to send you transactional messages about your purchase;
- to send you product updates or marketing emails where you have asked us to or where permitted by law (you can opt out at any time);
- to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the website and products;
- to detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues; and
- to comply with our legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
4. Legal bases (where applicable)
Where data-protection laws such as the GDPR apply, we rely on the following legal bases: your consent (for example, for marketing emails); performance of a contract (to deliver a product you bought); our legitimate interests (to run, secure, and improve our business); and compliance with legal obligations. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
5. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to run the website and to understand how it is used. Some are essential; others help us measure traffic and improve the site. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without them.
The website may load third-party tools (such as a form/embed provider and our hosting provider) that set their own cookies or process limited data under their own privacy policies.
6. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us run the business, and only as needed, including:
- payment and checkout providers (for example, Whop) to process your purchase;
- form, email, and analytics providers to capture sign-ups, send messages, and measure usage;
- our hosting and infrastructure providers to operate the site; and
- professional advisors or authorities where required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
We may also share information in connection with a business transfer, such as a merger or sale of assets.
7. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here — for example, to support you, keep records of purchases, and meet legal, tax, or accounting requirements — and then delete or anonymize it.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International transfers
We and our service providers may process information in countries other than the one you live in. Where required, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
10. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.
If you are in the EEA or UK, you may have the rights described under the GDPR. If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know and delete information and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information — and we do not sell your personal information. To exercise any right, email support@sovereignledger.app and we will respond as required by law.
11. Children's privacy
The website and products are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Third-party links
Our website and products may link to third-party sites and services we do not control. This policy does not apply to them, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted with a new "Last updated" date. Significant changes may be highlighted on the website.
